What It Does:

  • Connects to remote servers to download malicious files and install them onto the infected computer.
  • Infected file may delete itself after it has been executed on the system.
  • May attempt to terminate certain Windows processes.
  • Adds itself to the infected computer's registry so that the infection runs when Windows starts.
